Linking Youth to Resources and Interim Care
Welcome to Project LYRIC 🤗🎶
We are committed to improving young people's access to mental health support.
Did you know that mental health difficulties among young people have almost tripled in the last 10 years? About 40% of adolescents have high levels of distress, and mental health referrals have risen by 50%.
Unfortunately, there are not enough services to meet the demand, leaving loads of teens without the help they need. Young people are waiting up to a year for mental health care, and the longer they wait, the worse their mental health gets.
Here at Project LYRIC, we have developed a mental health program with young people in Western Australia that Links Youth to Resources and Interim Care. We want young people to access evidence based mental health support early on.
